Jared brings a lifelong love of crafting to every class. From shawls to beanies, he loves helping others discover how calming and creative knitting can be. Jared works full-time at the Burkhart Center and joins The Yarny Way teaching team in October—come knit with him!

Joy Getha is an award-winning fiber artist and instructor with a passion for spinning and working with fleece. She loves teaching others how to transform raw fiber into beautiful handmade creations

Sydney Long brings enthusiasm, patience, and a playful spirit to everything she crochets.

Marni Reecer is the founder of The Yarny Way. She creates a warm, welcoming space where beginners thrive and seasoned makers find inspiration. Her teaching is friendly, hands-on, and rooted in a deep love of yarn and community.

Jennifer (she/her) is The Yarny Way’s resident sock expert! A Lubbock native with a passion for knitting, she’s rarely seen without a pair of socks in progress. By day, she works in public health; by night, she keeps bees, makes blanket squares, and dreams of spinning her own yarn.
