Ready to get hooked? This beginner crochet series is the perfect way to learn the basics in a warm, relaxed setting—no experience needed!
We’ll meet weekly for 4 2-hour sessions. By the end of the series, you’ll feel confident chaining, stitching, and following simple patterns. You’ll even start your first real project, like a cozy washcloth or scarf.
What You'll Learn Each Week:
Week 1 – Chain & Single Crochet
Learn how to hold the yarn and hook, make your foundation chain, and start working rows of single crochet.
Week 2 – Half Double & Double Crochet
Add new stitch heights and learn how to shape fabric. Start to see your fabric take form!
Week 3 – Turning, Counting & Fixing Mistakes
Master turning rows, reading your stitches, and fixing common beginner slip-ups.
Week 4 – Pattern Reading & Finishing
Learn to read simple patterns and assemble a small project. You'll leave with the skills to crochet confidently on your own!
