Stitch & Story – The Joy Luck Club (Part 1)

This month’s Stitch & Story will unfold over two evenings as we listen to The Joy Luck Club by Amy Tan, read by the author. Each session stands on its own, and you are welcome to attend one or both.

During the session, we will listen together while working on a simple, steady project. This month’s suggested motif is a mitered square, inspired by the way the novel brings separate stories together to form a larger whole. You may follow the pillow patterns linked on the Stitch & Story page, make individual squares, or bring any project that feels easy to work on while listening.
