Ready to move beyond “follow-along” crochet and really understand a pattern? This class is all about building that skill—while making something useful.
In this hands-on session, you’ll learn how to read a written crochet pattern and turn it into a finished dishcloth. We’ll walk through common abbreviations, stitch instructions, repeats, and pattern flow, so you leave feeling more confident tackling future projects on your own.
What we’ll cover:
How to read and follow a crochet pattern
Understanding abbreviations and stitch counts
Keeping your place in a pattern
Finishing a simple, practical project
Materials:
Please bring:
A 4mm (G) crochet hook
Cotton worsted-weight yarn
Both hooks and yarn are available for purchase in the shop if you need them.
Optional:
We’ll be using a dishcloth pattern from a crochet pattern book, which includes many additional dishcloth designs. The book is available for optional purchase for $12.99.
