Curious about spinning your own yarn? This hands-on workshop is a great place to start.
Join Joy for a relaxed, beginner-friendly introduction to drop spindle spinning. You’ll learn how fiber becomes yarn, how to draft, and how to spin a continuous strand using a drop spindle. We’ll cover the basics step by step, with plenty of time to practice and ask questions.
The class fee includes a drop spindle to take home and fiber to use during class. Additional fiber will be available for purchase in the shop if you’d like to keep spinning afterward.
No prior spinning experience needed. If you enjoy yarn and want to understand it from the very beginning, this class is for you.
