Curious about double-pointed needles but not sure where to start? This class makes it simple.

We’ll use larger DPNs and DK or worsted weight yarn to learn how to knit in the round without the stress. You’ll begin a simple tube that can be worn as a cowl or cinched into a hat using a drawstring finish.

We’ll cover:

  • Casting on and dividing stitches across DPNs
  • Joining in the round (without twisting)
  • Managing multiple needles with confidence
  • Avoiding gaps and ladders

Cost: $60 (2 hours)

Materials:
Bring or purchase:

  • 100g DK yarn (e.g., Cashmere DK, Sarasota)
    or
  • 100g worsted weight yarn (e.g., Malabrigo Rios, Sarasota Worsted)
  • 8" DPNs:
    • US 7 (DK)
    • US 8 (Worsted)
